That's the last time I updated this journal. I've had nothing else to update it with... well, I guess what the last one pertained to. Yule was awesome, Zil was here for a month, then had to go back. We're working on getting things done so I can move up there, but it'll be a while.

As such, I'm on job search still. The DH gig is... well, I don't know. It's not unsatisfactory, and I've done some stuff for it that I've liked a lot, but my heart isn't in drawing these days. I'd rather just get money up doing a regular job like retail or data entry or something so I can be with Zilean, soon. I can focus on art after that, if I want to. Yes, I still doodle from time to time, but only because until I get a job, I have nothing else to do. I used to enjoy art because it was relaxing and expressive. It's neither now, unless I break down. It's not going to be a career for me until I can get this stuff worked out and I'm content with life again. Until that point, drawing is going to go back to being an escape from work once I do have a job; I did more in that sort of situation with school, and it was more pleasant. So I figure it'd work similarly.

I... guess that's it.
